What is this Blog About?

It’s all about the customer. Technology and content marketing are the red carpet that I roll out for them.

Everyone and everything is unique, including this blog’s slant on doing business in a digital world and your need for quality information and experience in that space. The perspective you can expect to find here is a unique blend of information technology, software development, digital marketing, social media, and brand & product storytelling – all tied together with a red string labeled customer experience

In this blog you will find a refreshing return to what matters most: the customer and the unique experience we as businesses can create to make both sides equally pleased.

Who is Brian Shipman?

Brian is the CIO of Heritage Auctions – a fantastically unique place to work. Heritage’s mission is to help people successfully acquire or pass on rare and significant objects that have both monetary and soul-stirring value.

He is also a Christian author with three book releases aimed at inspiring both teens and adults. He has served as pastor, youth pastor, and speaker.

Brian is an avid puzzle freak, and at the age of 16 appeared on the TV show That’s Incredible, competing in the 2nd annual Rubik’s Cube speed-solving contest, where he placed fourth in the nation.

He is a true LOST junkie, and believes he has discovered the true meaning behind the numbers 4,8,15,16,23, and 42 within the epic TV series. See if you agree.

Brian graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity.
